My Photography

I have been interested in photography for many years, ever since my grandmother gave me her old Kodak Brownie camera when I was a child.

I have tended to stick with the brand I started with in the 1980's Olympus, as their small physical size suits my small hands. I have only recently started to use a Digital SLR and I am gradually getting to grips with the new concepts, not least the auto focus, which I find not so intuitive as you would expect.

I am still not convinced that the quality aspect is anywhere near a match for 35mm Slide film, but the running costs and the convenience are powerful persuaders for digital.

I am currently experimenting with infra red and HDR techniques. Here are some examples of my pictures.
